Double Dragon Shotokan Karate - Hurstville Karate Dojo

The Double Dragon Shotokan Karate clubs in Sydney were founded by Sensei Leszek Smirski, 6th Dan, fully accredited instructor, with 39 years karate experience. Sensei Leszek is the Chief Instructor and Manager of the clubs. The dojos in Kingsford, Sans Souci and Hurstville, have a successful competition record on state, national and international levels. Beginners and experienced students are all welcome to train in our friendly and supportive environment that brings out the best in each individual.

Our sessions are suitable for men and women and children of all ages. We are dedicated to providing a friendly and safe environment that enables you to be the best karateka you can be. Shotokan Karate is a martial art form that is so much more than kicking and punching. Beyond the obvious self-defence and physical skills, karate is also about character development and learning effective life skills.

SKIF is the world's largest Shotokan Karate organisation, with more than 3 million members in over 120 countries and the chief instructor is Hirokazu Kanazawa Soke , 10th Dan is one of the world most renowned and respected traditional karate masters of all time.
