Drouin Croquet Club has been a place where people have supported one another through good times and bad times. We formed just two years after Australia became an independent nation (can you imagine what THOSE conversations were like around the courts and club-room?! . Our members would have cared for each other as sons and daughters left for war, and would have joyously celebrated together if they returned.
The coronation of kings and queens would have been talked about with excitement, as would have been the births of royal heirs, just as we are talking about the birth of the newest one in 2013.
