Earth & Sky Yoga Studio

Earth & Sky Yoga Studio is a warm and welcoming boutique yoga studio located in Avoca Beach, Sydney. Founded by Cassandra Missio, a Certified Anusara Yoga Teacher, the studio offers a variety of in-person classes as well as online options to accommodate busy schedules.

Anusara Yoga, an alignment-based school of Hatha Yoga, is the primary style taught at Earth & Sky. The practise emphasises creative freedom and individual expression while adhering to the precise methodology known as the Universal Principles of Alignment™. Each class incorporates inspirational heart themes that awaken awareness of the physical body and promote a deeper connexion to the heart space. Participants can expect to develop strength, vitality, and a sense of spaciousness in both body and mind.

Cassandra Missio, the founder and principal teacher, has been teaching yoga since 2003. With a passion for sharing the transformative power of yoga, she aims to offer an experience of freedom and lightness in the body and heart to all her students. In addition to the studio's regular classes, Cassandra also leads local, regional, and international yoga retreats for those seeking a deeper immersion into their practise.

Earth & Sky Yoga Studio is not just a place for yoga; it's a community. By subscribing to their newsletter, students can stay updated on workshops, courses, and other studio updates. The studio also acknowledges and honours the Darkinjung people, the Traditional Owners of the land, and recognises the deep spiritual connexion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to the country.

Term 4 classes begin on Tuesday, 24th October 2023, and bookings are now open. Pricing options include $24 for a single class, $160 for 8 classes, and $272 for 16 classes. For those interested in trying a class, they are welcome to join anytime, and a spot can be reserved by sending a text or calling Cassandra directly.

One of the featured classes is Tuesday Morning Yoga with Support at 10 am. Designed to be less strenuous, this class focuses on building strength and flexibility with the help of equipment like chairs, blocks, and bolsters. Improved alignment is promoted, and calming breath work is incorporated.

Earth & Sky Yoga Studio accepts both Eftpos and cash payments in the studio, making it convenient for students to settle their fees. Whether students are new to yoga or experienced practitioners, Earth & Sky Yoga Studio offers a nurturing and inclusive space to explore and deepen their practise.
