Echuca Moama Hockey Club

With you to answer any questions you may have. We believe that hockey is a sport for everyone, and we are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for players of all ages and abilities.

The Echuca Moama Hockey Club has a rich history, with over 30 years of existence. We are proud to be a long-standing part of the Echuca/Moama district and have recently amalgamated with Kyabram to strengthen our club even further.

Our club is run by dedicated volunteer members who have a great passion and love for the game. We are fortunate to have a strong and supportive community that rallies behind us, and we are grateful for the support of our sponsors, including The Pear Tree Echuca.

In 2018, we had a fantastic year with four of our teams winning their respective premierships. Our A Women, B Women, U16, and U14 teams were crowned premiers, and we are excited for another successful year in the 2019 season. We will be fielding teams in all grades and are looking forward to the challenges and successes that lie ahead.

One of the highlights of our club is our Hook into Hockey programme. We love seeing the excitement on the faces of the kids as they play on the field. It's a great opportunity for children to try out a sport they may not have considered before and learn the fundamentals of hockey in a fun and supportive environment.

We are also excited to be hosting the 2019 Victorian Hockey Road Show, which will be visiting Echuca from Monday 18th February until Friday 22nd February. Coaches will be visiting local schools, such as Echuca Primary, Echuca East Primary, Moama Public, St. Mary's Primary, and Moama Grammar, to introduce over 700 students to the sport of hockey.

At the Echuca Moama Hockey Club, we welcome players of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned player or have never touched a stick before, we encourage you to come try hockey and see for yourself why it's such an awesome game. We offer a range of grades, including A Grade for both men and women, B Grade for both men and women, Under 16, Under 14, Under 12, Inter League, and U9 & U11 Hookin2 Hockey.
