One of the highlights of Eglinton District Football Club is the DAWSON'S SUMMER OF FOOTBALL 2020, DELIVERED BY EDFC. This recreational off-season football competition allows anyone to enjoy 40 minutes of physical activity, regardless of whether they are a winter player or not. The mixed open competition kicks off on November 20th, and players must be 14 years of age or older by the end of 2020 to participate. The format includes 7 players on the field, with at least two of them being female.
There is no offside rule in this competition, and the winning team will receive a prize. The team fee is $600, with an additional $20 for each player beyond the quantity of 10.
Eglinton District Football Club provides various draws for different age groups, including Mini Football, Junior Football, and Senior Football. These draws allow teams to compete in their respective categories and showcase their skills and talent.
