The Esk Golf Club is managed by the 2022/23 committee, consisting of dedicated individuals who are passionate about the sport. The committee includes Bernie Moore as the patron, Luke Latter as the president (0438 798 112), Brett Farnham and Steve Lerm as vice presidents (0411 166 503), Barbara Macintyre as the treasurer (0428 424 110), Ian Macintyre as the secretary (0418922533), Shaun Wilson as the captain (0428522528), Trevor Adams as the vice captain (0428 564 667), Luke Latter as the handicapper, and Brett Farnham and Kerry Harvey as the course directors.
The club offers a range of amenities and services to its members and visitors. The clubhouse is licenced, air-conditioned, and has EFTPOS facilities. Carts and clubs are available for hire, although the availability is limited, so it is recommended to inquire within. Whether you're interested in playing golf, darts, pool, or simply enjoying a cool drink while watching the sunset, the Esk Golf Club has something for everyone.
Membership options at the Esk Golf Club are diverse and affordable. Full annual membership is priced at $325, social playing membership at $130, junior membership at $60, and social membership at $10. There is also a half-year membership option available for $180, which is not eligible for club championships. Benefits of full membership include no green fees, access to all clubhouse facilities, a recognised AGU handicap for playing in open competitions nationwide, and voting rights at club general meetings.
For those interested in participating in competitions, the club offers open competition fees starting from $10. Green fees for 9 or 18 holes are $15, and competition times vary depending on the day and month. Saturday competition starts at 9:00 am from November to February and at 11:00 am from March to October. Thursday competitions run from October to May starting at 7:30 am and from June to September at 8:30 am.
Friday social competitions are held from September to April at 3:00 pm and from May to August at 2:30 pm. Lastly, the Sunday Chooky competition starts at 7:30 am.
