Eudunda Bowling Club | Lawn Bowls in The Regional Council

Eudunda Bowling Club, located in The Regional Council of Goyder, is a well-established sports club that offers a friendly and inclusive environment for lawn bowls enthusiasts. Affiliated with the Barossa & Light Bowling Association, the club provides opportunities for both competitive and social bowling experiences.

With a strong focus on community engagement, Eudunda Bowling Club hosts regular events and activities to cater to all skill levels and interests. The club's dedicated members actively participate in team practise and coaching sessions held every Wednesday and Friday, ensuring a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for bowlers to improve their skills.

The club takes pride in its championship winners, with Aaron Jones and Judy Milde taking home the titles in the Men's and Ladies' Singles categories respectively. Jono Voigt and Tait Rogers proved their prowess in the Men's Pairs competition. The club also organises Night Bowls, where members can compete in a friendly and fun-filled atmosphere.

Eudunda Bowling Club has a strong sense of camaraderie, evident in their recent visit to Wilma Duldig, a loyal member and former patroness of the club, on her 100th birthday. Their Mid-week Red and White teams have been showcasing their skills, with notable performances against Freeling and Kapunda.

Division 1 has been dominating the leader board, securing a convincing win against Kapunda. The Division 2 team faced strong opposition from Angaston, while the Division 3 teams displayed resilience and sportsmanship in their matches against Kapunda and Nuriootpa Black.

The club's success extends beyond the bowling green, with various team members achieving the prestigious '8' badge. Felix Schiller, David Mansell, Ron Dunsdon, and Marg Nietschke are among the recent winners, making history for the Eudunda Bowling Club. The club also encourages members to participate in various State events and the upcoming Men's and Ladies Club Championships.

As the Night Bowls season approaches, Eudunda Bowling Club invites everyone to join the fun-filled event. With a start time at 7:30 pm, members can enjoy a night of communal bonding and competitive bowling.
