Exeter - Auskick is a vibrant and inclusive sports club located in the West Tamar Council area. As a part of the NAB AFL Auskick programme, Exeter - Auskick aims to provide children with a fun and exciting introduction to Australian Football, while also fostering lasting friendships and teaching invaluable life skills.
The programme is designed for children aged 5 and above, with no prior experience in Aussie Rules required. Through engaging game-based activities, learning is disguised as playing, making it an enjoyable and effective way for kids to develop their skills and improve their confidence. To ensure fair play and maximum enjoyment, Auskickers are divided into age-specific groups, with optional all-girls sessions also available.
Sessions at Exeter - Auskick run for one hour per week, providing a perfect balance between skill development and fun. There is no need for expensive equipment or uniforms, as children can wear whatever they feel comfortable in. This makes it accessible and affordable for all families.
In addition to the on-field experiences, NAB AFL Auskickers at Exeter - Auskick receive an exclusive pack of footy goodies, an Auskick Junior Club Membership for their favourite AFL club, and the chance to play halftime at AFL and AFLW elite matches alongside their footy heroes. These unique opportunities create unforgettable memories and further enhance the Auskick experience.
Exeter - Auskick strongly believes in the importance of parental involvement. Parents can actively participate in their child's Auskick journey, whether it be through coordinating the programme, getting involved in various roles, or simply encouraging their child. This family engagement plays a vital role in creating a fun and inclusive environment for all participants.
For those looking to make a difference, there is also an opportunity to join Team NAB AFL Auskick. Registered Auskickers can enter a competition for a chance to win exciting prizes, including a Grand Final Week experience, the opportunity to present a medal to their footy heroes at the Grand Final, and $5,000 spending money for the team captain.
