Football Technique School

Football Technique School (FTS) is a sports club located in Melbourne, Australia, dedicated to providing top-quality technical training for boys and girls. With a history dating back to 2005, FTS has established itself as a leader in youth-specific player development, with many of their older players now successfully playing in professional clubs both in Australia and overseas.

FTS offers a comprehensive training curriculum that focuses on the link between technical ability and intelligence for optimal player development. The FTS Talented Player Programme, starting in October 2023, is open for registration for players born between 2017 and 2008. Limited spots are available, so early registration is encouraged. FTS also conducts Development Squad trials for players born in 2011. Over the next 18 months, this age group will undergo specific training in preparation for the Junior Boys NPL Season in 2025. The trials will be held on Saturday, August 26th, 2023.

Recent success stories include Jordan Valadon's promotion to the Melbourne Victory A-League Men's Squad and Nishan Velupillay's selection in the Australia U23 squad. The FTS45 Home Programme is a unique offering designed to allow players to continue their training at home. It focuses on key techniques, as well as football speed, agility, and balance. The programme provides detailed instructions for each activity, including repetitions, sets, and times.
