Located at Hanks Reserve in Yarraville, Melbourne, Footscray Baseball Club is a well-established sports club with a rich history. The club prides itself on being a family-friendly and social sporting club, where all past players are encouraged to re-join and new players are welcomed with open arms.
Footscray Baseball Club caters to players of all ages and skill levels, with teams in T-Ball (4–8 years old), Under 12, Under 14, Women’s, Open Senior’s, and Masters divisions. Whether you're an experienced player or just starting out, there is a team for you at Footscray.
The club participates in both the Summer and Winter baseball seasons. During Summer, from October to March, training takes place on Tuesdays (Women’s main training night), Wednesdays (Open/Men’s main training night), and Thursdays (all Club training night). Junior training is held on Tuesdays from 4:30 pm. Games are scheduled on Saturday afternoons for Women's teams, Sunday afternoons for Open Senior teams, Friday nights and Sunday mornings for Juniors, and Monday nights for Masters.
In Winter, from April to September, training is held on Tuesday and Thursday nights, with Juniors training on Thursdays. Senior teams play their games on Saturday afternoons, while Junior teams compete on Saturday mornings.
The club encourages interested individuals to register their interest in joining Footscray Baseball Club by visiting their website or attending any training session or game. The friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the club ensures that new members will feel right at home.
Footscray Baseball Club is grateful for the support of its sponsors, including Mabel and Woods, a women’s boutique in Spotswood that has been styling women in Melbourne’s Inner West for over six years.
