Welcome to Freshwater Surf Life Saving Club! Located on Freshwater Beach in Sydney, our club has a rich history that dates back to 1908. We are proud to be one of the most popular surf life-saving clubs on Sydney's Northern beaches.
Membership at Freshwater SLSC offers a range of benefits and opportunities. Whether you're interested in becoming a patrolling member, participating in surf sports, or joining our Nippers programme for children aged 5 to 13, there is something for everyone. Our aim is to provide a safe and enjoyable beach experience for all members and visitors.
Our dedicated team of volunteers patrol Freshwater Beach from September to April each year. With over 3,000 people on the beach daily during weekends and public holidays, our volunteers work diligently to ensure the safety of swimmers and beachgoers. We are proud to have a record of no lives lost between the flags while our patrolling members have been on duty.
In addition to our lifesaving efforts, Freshwater SLSC also offers a range of education and training opportunities. Under the Australian Lifesaving Academy, we provide nationally recognised courses for members to develop their lifesaving skills.
Freshwater SLSC wouldn't be possible without the support of our sponsors and supporters. Their generosity allows us to keep our equipment up to date and maintain the highest standards of lifesaving.
