Fusion Movement Studio

Fusion Movement Studio, located in the Lower Blue Mountains of Sydney, is a sports club that has been celebrating 14 years of fun and providing a positive and inclusive environment for all students. The studio's founder and principal, Christine Smith, brings over 30 years of teaching experience to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where children can be themselves and embrace their unique personalities.

Christine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance, a Graduate Diploma of Education in Dance and PDHPE (Physical Education, Health, and Personal Development), as well as Masters in Education Leadership and Special Education. Her passion and drive enable children to achieve their goals and dreams, and her extensive background in dance, ranging from RAD Ballet to contemporary and musical theatre, ensures a diverse and enriching dance curriculum.

Situated in Blaxland, just 10 minutes west of Penrith, Fusion Movement Studio is conveniently located within walking distance to Blaxland Station. The studio is housed at St Margaret's Church and offers private on-site parking, a fenced play area, a waiting foyer, and fully air-conditioned studios for the comfort of both students and parents.

At Fusion Movement Studio, the team of dedicated teachers is passionate about sharing their love of dance with students. Michelle Caddell, a long-time student turned teacher, specialises in Tap and Jazz and has had the opportunity to perform in prestigious events such as the 2000 Olympics and Disney on Ice. Lara Lockley brings a wide range of styles to the studio, including physical culture, hip hop, ballet, tap, and musical theatre.

Whether students are interested in jazz, ballet, tap, cheerleading, acro, or gymnastics, Fusion Movement Studio offers a comprehensive dance programme that caters to all interests and skill levels.
