Geraldton Junior Soccer Association

The Geraldton Junior Soccer Association (GJSA) strives to provide a variety of competitions for all Mid West children to participate in the great game of Football.

The GJSA has four local Geraldton Clubs affiliated – La Fiamma, Geraldton Rovers SC, Chapman Athletic and Olympic FC that combined have an annual total of 800 children registered to play.

The GJSA currently operates a School 7-a-Side competition from March to May on Friday nights, as well as the main winter top League season that runs from May to September each year.

As well as the competitions, the GJSA was the inaugral regional zone to commence a High Performance Centre (HPC) for talented regional players, with the aim to further develop player skills at an early age, and to promote potential pathways provided by our governing entity, Football West. For the past few years, the GJSA has had representative players and coaches selected to participate in Country Camps and the WA Regional Select Squad which competes annually in international tournaments across Asia.

The GJSA is governed by an elected Board of Directors that uphold all financial and competition regulations throughout the year of service, to maintain the interest of all players, officials, spectators, and Clubs alike. Their collective vision is to see Junior Soccer develop and grow throughout the Mid West, and for its players to find enjoyment in participating in the sport.
