Gladstone Volleyball Association currently hosts 15 teams spread across 4 divisions of A grade mixed, B grade mixed, B grade mens and Senior Mens. Several secondary schools compete within the league which gives the team a good grounding for Volleyball Queensland's Schools Cup Competition. Many members of Gladstone Volleyball Association have gone on to represent both Queensland and Australia in volleyball.
All players in the local league are registered with Volleyball Queensland. Competitions are held inside the Gladstone State High School main assembly hall on two indoor courts every Thursday night starting from 510pm.
For members wishing to better their skills, training is also available to members. Training occurs on Tuesday nights from 7pm-8pm for Juniors and 8:00 – 9:30pm for senior members.
