Glendale Junior Rugby League Football Club was established in 1962 by a small committee of men who were passionate about the game. Our founding member was William Michael Bower (Bill) who the oval is now named after. Our parent club is Western Suburbs Rugby League Football Club who provides support in numerous ways to the Gorillas. Glendale Junior Rugby League Football Club celebrated their 50th Anniversary in the game in 2012, which is a real milestone for a small community club.
