Who are we?
The Goldfields Dustdevils were formed in 2001 by a small group of hang gliding and paragliding enthusiast based in Kalgoorlie. Since then we have spread our wings and now have pilots flying regularly in Kalgoorlie, Perth and Esperence.
Where do we fly?
Kalgoorlie: No, you don’t need hills. Kalgoorlie is a great location for hang gliding with good thermalling conditions all year round. We fly at Lake Perkolilli most weekends and there is great ridge soaring at Esperance, just down the road and inland hill flying at Frazer Range.
Perth: There are many coastal sites near Perth, these include Cottesloe, Alkimos Beach, Two Rocks, Wedge Island and many more. The 'Perth Dusties' also fly in York launching off Mt Bakewell.
Is hang gliding safe?
Hang gliding and paragliding can be dangerous, but if the sport is approached with the right frame of mind it can be one of the safer and most rewarding adventure sports around.
Do you do tandems?

How do I learn to hang glide?
