Goodwood Cricket Club is a community club with a rich history of success in the Adelaide Turf Cricket Association competitions. Situated in the city fringe suburb of Milswood, within the City of Unley, the club's home ground is the beautiful and prestigious Goodwood Oval.
The club currently boasts a large membership, fielding teams in various categories. This includes four senior two-day sides competing in the A1, A3, B1, and C1 competitions. Additionally, there are three One Day teams participating in the Limited Overs 1st, 3rd, and 6th grades.
Goodwood Cricket Club takes pride in its commitment to junior development. With 14 junior boys' sides ranging from U/10 to U/18, as well as two under 14 girls' sides, the club is recognised as one of the largest cricket clubs in South Australia. They provide ample opportunities for young cricketers to develop their skills and passion for the game.
The club's top ground is the picturesque Goodwood Oval, located on Curzon Ave, Millswood. Equipped with fully-licenced Clubrooms, this venue truly offers a wonderful setting for cricket matches. In addition to Goodwood Oval, the club also utilises two ovals at the rear of Cabra Dominican College in Cumberland Park and Lockleys Oval.
Goodwood Cricket Club is always on the lookout for new players, both at the senior and junior levels. They welcome individuals of all skill levels who are passionate about cricket and want to be part of a supportive and successful club.
