Welcome to the Greenwells Fly Fishing Club! Located in Albury, Australia, we are a thriving sports club dedicated to the art of fly-fishing. Our club offers a range of activities and opportunities for both seasoned anglers and beginners alike.
We meet on the first Wednesday of every month in our modern club-rooms, starting at 7:30pm (6:30pm barbecue during daylight saving). Our club is proud to have members represented on important committees related to recreational fishing for Salmonids, including VR Fish, Council of Victorian Fly Fishing Clubs, and Council of Freshwater Anglers – NSW.
At Greenwells Fly Fishing Club, we believe in sharing knowledge and promoting the growth of our members' skills. Our experienced members are always happy to share their expertise in casting, stream-craft, fly tying, and everything necessary to become a competent fly fisher. We also conduct an Introduction to Fly Fishing Course each year, providing beginners with a solid foundation.
In addition to our regular meetings, we organise club trips and maintain an active social calendar. Our club provides the perfect platform for members to connect, learn, and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow fly fishers. Throughout the year, we host guest speakers at our General Meetings and have an Annual Dinner, where members can enjoy insightful presentations and mingle with like-minded individuals.
Visitors are always welcome at the Greenwells Fly Fishing Club and are encouraged to attend two meetings to experience the benefits and enjoyment available to our members. Our club-rooms are conveniently located at GreenField Park, Alma Street, Albury.

During the closed season (winter), we offer fly tying and casting practise sessions at the clubhouse, allowing members to continue honing their skills all year round.
