Griffith Aero Club, located in the vibrant multicultural city of Griffith, has been providing pilot training since 1946. With a focus on pilot training and providing a welcoming facility for members and visiting pilots, the club aims to make the dream of flying a reality for aviation enthusiasts.
The club currently operates two Jabiru J-230 and a Sling 2 aircraft, all single engine recreational category planes. Experienced and professional pilot instructors offer training and endorsements up to the RAAus Recreational Pilot Certificate level. Licenced pilots also have the opportunity to privately hire recreational aviation and general aviation aircraft.
For those looking to give the gift of flight, the club offers gift vouchers for trial flights or flying lessons. Membership applications are welcomed, and an online booking system has been implemented to make the process easier. Bookings can be made for lessons, private hire of aircraft, and training sessions.
Located on Old Aerodrome Road, the club is easily accessible and situated close to the city.
