The Gwandalan Summerland Point Football Club, commonly referred to as “The Cobras,” is a prominent sports club located in the beautiful coastal suburb of Summerland Point in Gwandalan, Australia. The club offers football programmes for players of all ages and skill levels. They provide opportunities for children as young as U5 to participate in an enjoyable and inclusive football experience. The smaller fields, modified rules, and reduced number of players in the U5-U11 divisions ensure a more engaging and interactive game. This allows young players to touch the ball more frequently and increases their chances of scoring goals, contributing to an exciting and rewarding match experience.

For the older players, the club organises All Age teams for those above the U11 bracket. The club also has age divisions such as M18, MAA2, MAA6, and O35s for those looking to join a team that aligns with their age group and skill level.

To ensure the safety and well-being of players, it is mandatory for everyone involved in the club, including committee members, coaches, managers, groundspeople, and other volunteers, to have a valid Working With Children (WWC) check. This check can be easily completed online and must be finalised at Service NSW. The club actively supports and assists individuals throughout the process. It is essential to complete the WWC check promptly as the season approaches.

The club welcomes new members and registration for the upcoming 2023 season is now open. Interested individuals are encouraged to download the 'CCF Mycomp' app to register and pay the necessary fees. The club also accepts Active Kids vouchers and offers a 10% family discount for families registering three or more members. To avail of the family discount, it is important to pay the registration fees directly to the club on the designated registration day, which is scheduled for Sunday, 5th February.

The Cobras organise various events, such as the Annual General Meeting (AGM), team presentations, and social gatherings, to bring members together. The Cobras have received recognition and gratitude from the Central Coast Football (CCF) organisation, winning the survival challenge and earning a $2000 credit with Summit Sports.
