Gympie Bike Riders

Gympie Bike Riders is a brand new sports club located in Gympie, Australia. Our primary goal is to promote and encourage new riders to join the exciting world of mountain biking. We aim to create a welcoming and inclusive community where riders of all levels of experience and skill can come together to enjoy the thrill of mountain biking.

One of our main focuses is organising fun, family-friendly social events and racing events. These events provide an opportunity for riders to connect with other enthusiasts, share experiences, and challenge themselves in a supportive and friendly environment. We believe that mountain biking is not just a sport, but also a great way to foster relationships and create lasting memories.

To participate in our official club social events, it is mandatory for riders to hold a current licence from the Mountain Bike Australia (MTBA) or purchase a social day licence for $5. MTBA licences offer a range of benefits including 24/7 personal accident insurance, the ability to enter almost all races without purchasing a day licence, access to coaches, courses, newsletters, and exclusive member benefits. The fees for MTBA licences vary depending on the category and type of membership.

Gympie Bike Riders is proud to be affiliated with MTBA. This affiliation allows us to have access to a wide range of resources and support from the national governing body. It also ensures that our events and activities align with the standards and guidelines set by MTBA, ensuring safety and quality for all participants.
