The Hobart Fly Tying Club is a club with an emphasis on hands-on practise in tying flies. Formed in early 1999 with the aim of encouraging local fly tyers to get together to exchange fly patterns and develop fly tying techniques the club has gone from strength to strength. With guest speakers and regular field trips to try out that latest creation the Hobart Fly Tying Club has plenty to offer the novice or expert tyer alike.
