Hamilton Basketball Association

The Hamilton Basketball Association, also known as the Hamilton Amateur Basketball Association, is a prominent sports club located in the Southern Grampians Shire. We provide an exciting and engaging basketball experience for players of all ages and skill levels.

At Hamilton Basketball Association, our primary focus is on fostering a love for the sport and promoting teamwork and sportsmanship among our players. We offer both junior and senior divisions, allowing individuals of all ages to participate and enjoy the game.

For the upcoming Summer Season 2023/24, team entries for juniors are due by 5pm on Friday, September 1, 2023. The grading meeting for junior teams will take place on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 6pm. Registrations will be open from September 15 to October 6, 2023. The season will officially commence on October 9 and 13, 2023.

The finals will be held on March 15, 18, 22, and 25, 2024.

For senior teams, entries are also due on Friday, September 1, 2023, by 5pm. The grading meeting for seniors will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 6pm. Registrations for senior players will be open from September 15 to October 6, 2023. The season start dates are October 10 and 11, 2023.

The finals for seniors will be held on March 12, 13, 20, and 26, 2024.

It is important to note that all players must be registered in order to participate in the first game. Coaches and team managers are also required to register, at no cost.

The safety and supervision of children under 10 years of age is paramount to us. We urge parents and guardians to ensure constant supervision of their children during basketball activities at the Hamilton Indoor Leisure and Aquatic Centre (HILAC). Hilac staff are not responsible for the well-being of unsupervised children, and we encourage proactive measures to prevent any potential incidents.
