Hockey New England is the host of hockey in Armidale and the New England. Competitions run regularly for both senior and junior men and women across all skill levels.
Hockey New England is based at the New England Hockey Centre on the grounds of the picturesque University of New England. The association plays on two artificial surfaces with the option to expand to grass fields for carnivals, and has hosted many regional and state level championships at the centre. The centre is also regularly used by the community with the fields being used for school and university sporting events.
