Rowing is a popular summer sport in which The Hutchins School has a long, proud tradition and record of success. At all age-groups new rowers can join the Hutchins Rowing programme through our Learn to Row Programme which commences mid-Term 3.
Rowing at Hutchins is a successful but demanding sport. The programme aims to develop rowers (which includes both oarsmen and coxes) to be proficient in the sport and hopes that all rowers will develop a love of rowing, will develop their own skills and strengths to their potential and will wish to take rowing to a further level beyond school.
