Much has happened over the past number of years and especially in the past 12 months leading to this outcome. As you are most likely aware, Hockey NSW with its Association Reform initiative mandated in August 2013 and subsequently clarified at the HNSW Presidents Forum in February 2014 designated that associations within the state must amalgamate prior to end February 2015 or become unaffiliated.
