JCU Cairns campus has recently developed a football club for those in love with the “world game”. Since 2011 JCU Cairns FC has been competitive in the FNQ Football Zone’s senior competition. Two years in a row JCU Cairns FC was awarded the Sportsmanship Award for the team with the least bookings all season. In 2012 our ladies and men’s JCU Cairns FC goal keepers were voted Goal Keeper of the Season by their peers.
