Jeparit Anglers Club

Other talented junior anglers who made the podium include Thea Paech, Ivy Pitt, Jasper Bigham, and Brydon McPhee. These young anglers demonstrated their skills by catching notable fish species such as yellowbelly, redfin, and silver perch.

In the senior category, Rodney Beer from Ballarat and Josh Beer from Miners Rest secured second and third place, respectively, by catching impressive yellowbelly fish. The competition showcased the diversity of fish species in the area and the abilities of the club's members in targeting them.

In addition to the main competition, the club introduced the Kevin Humphreys (Oigle's) Memorial Mystery Weight Prize, which was awarded to Rhonda Preston from Kaniva for catching a silver perch weighing 560 grammes. This prize added a sense of excitement and surprise to the event, commemorating a valued member of the fishing community.
