Welcome to Just Swim, a leading sports club located in Kings Meadows, Launceston. Just Swim is a privately owned, purpose-built heated indoor pool that provides the ideal venue for children to learn how to swim. Our team of accredited Austswim Teachers are trained to deliver safe, productive, and enjoyable lessons that your children will love.

At Just Swim, there is something for everyone who wants to just swim! We offer a wide range of programmes and activities to cater to all ages and abilities. Our programmes include Learn to Swim programmes for infants, aquatic programmes for juniors, fitness squads for juniors and adults, adult lap swimming, water fitness classes, hydrotherapy classes, family fun swims, and school holiday learn to swim clinics. We believe that swimming is not just a sport but a skill for life.

In our Infant Aquatics Programmes, we offer Water Orientation classes that are designed as parent/child classes. The focus of these classes is to instruct parents in methods that will help their infants and young children become confident and safe in and around water. Our Austswim Teachers will introduce and educate you and your child to the aquatic environment in a safe and friendly atmosphere. Lessons include songs, routines, and swimming activities with emphasis on fun and enjoyment.

We group infants and toddlers according to their age and motor development stage, and up to 7 participants may enrol in each class. Children from 3 years of age may also have the option to progress into our Learn to Swim Programme independent from their parent, depending on their readiness.

Our facility also features Tasmanian’s first MagnaPool, which offers a unique swimming experience with therapeutic benefits. The MagnaPool uses a combination of magnesium and mineral-based salts that are gentle on the skin and eyes, making it suitable for all swimming enthusiasts.

Just Swim operates with a flexible schedule to accommodate all members. Our open hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6am to 7pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 7am to 7:30pm, Saturday from 8am to 2pm, and we are closed on Sundays.
