He was instrumental in the expansion of the clubhouse and the establishment of the Indigenous/NAIDOC rounds. Josh Heke, on the other hand, started as a player before taking on the role of Head Coach and later becoming the Director of Rugby. He has also made valuable contributions to coaching junior teams and the Kala Kweenz.
The success of the Kalamunda Bulls is evident in their impressive performance in the 2023 season. With two Minor premierships and four leadingships across various age groups and grades, they have established themselves as a force to be reckoned with. The Under 14's, Senior Women's, and 4th Grade teams all achieved remarkable success, showcasing the strength and talent within the club.
To ensure the long-term sustainability of Kalamunda Rugby, the club has established the Friends of Kalamunda Bulls Foundation. This foundation aims to support, encourage, develop, and promote rugby, securing the future of the club as a leading and innovative force in Western Australia.
