Are you the owner of Katoomba District Little Athletics?
Katoomba District Little Athletics Centre is a long-established athletics centre in the upper Blue Mountains. Initially established and running out of Katoomba, it now operates from Pitt Park in Wentworth Falls. Participants are drawn mainly from Lawson to Blackheath, but members are welcome from across the Blue Mountains.
Our Centre aims to provide a safe and friendly environment where members can undertake a range of athletic activities consistent with the guidelines provided by Little Athletics NSW. Our competition programme runs from October to March each year on Saturday mornings between 8:30am and 12 noon.
Our grounds at Pitt Park Wentworth Falls have a 6 lane 400m athletics track, two long jump pits, two discuss cages and two shotput circles. We also include High Jump and Javelin in our programmes. The centre provides coaching in select events by accredited coaches on set afternoons during the compeition season depending on demand.
As a member of the Western Ranges Zone, members of Katoomba District Little Athletics also have the opportunity to compete with other zone clubs including Glenbrook, Kurrajong/Bilpin, Lithgow, Springwood, Mudgee, Oberon and Kandos/Rylstone at Zone championship days, and at higher levels of competition if successful.
