Kazoku Goju Ryu Karate-Do

Kazoku Goju Ryu is a friendly, family oriented karate club. Our classes are very relaxed, with an emphasis on personal and cooperative development in technical detail.

Kazoku karate teaches authentic Goju Ryu civilian fighting arts using traditional methods of training. These include Kata (patterns), Bunkai (applications), Sebaki (sparring drills), Kumite (free form fighting) and Hojo Undo (supplementary conditioning).

Our club encourages friendship, respect, communication, and patience. Kazoku Goju Ryu is as much a Karate Dojo (training hall) as it is a social group. Our extended interaction encourages bonds of friendship and trust; you are punching and kicking at each other after all, and respect and honour are important in keeping karate friendly and safe.
