About
Keep Walking – South Australia is a community-based bushwalking organisation located in Adelaide. They offer bush and leisure walks at various difficulty levels six days a week for most of the year, following a four-term basis. The walks take place in parks and reserves in Metropolitan Adelaide, with some walks held in near country locations. Occasionally, the club also offers a series of day walks in country areas such as Kangaroo Island and the Flinders Ranges.
The club aims to accommodate individuals of all fitness levels. Each walk is conducted at a speed that is achievable by the slowest member, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the natural environment. The participants in bushwalking come from diverse backgrounds and often feel comfortable sharing their life experiences with fellow walkers. Many new friendships are formed, and the group is typically considered a form of extended family.
All leaders of Keep Walking – South Australia are fully accredited and have undertaken first aid training, ensuring the safety of all participants. The club provides further information on their activities and the latest walk programme through email or telephone contact.
