Kirribilli Runners

Kirribilli Runners is a social and community-focused running group based in Sydney. The club has been running since 2006 and aims to support and encourage members as they pursue their running goals. Kirribilli Runners welcomes runners of all fitness levels and from any location, promoting inclusivity and fostering a welcoming community of teammates.

The club meets for runs on Monday and Thursday nights at 6:30 pm. Runners gather at the base of the Harbour Bridge stairs, where they engage in stretching and chatting for approximately 10 minutes before beginning their run at 6:40 pm. Additionally, there is storage available for bags located about 100 metres from the starting point.

Kirribilli Runners offers two main types of runs. The first is the Beginner KR Classic Thursday social run, covering a scenic 6-kilometre route from Kirribilli, across the Bridge, around the Opera House, and back. Participants can enjoy drinks and pizza at the finish. The second is the Intermediate KR10K Monday training run, which covers a 10-kilometre route to Barangaroo and back, serving as an excellent training run to kick off the week.

The club meets at the steps leading up to the Harbour Bridge pedestrian path in Milsons Point. It is important to note that Kirribilli is situated on the traditional land of the Cammeraygal people. The club acknowledges this and expresses a commitment to respecting and caring for the land, people, and spirit.
