Our owner and director, Lisa Peters, is an AUSTSWIM Accredited Bronze Licence Level 2 Coach with over 15 years of experience instructing both children and adults. At LAPS Swimming Centre, our goal is to provide children with the skills and confidence to ensure their safety in the water and improve their stroke quality. All our instructors are trained according to LAPS high standards, AUSTSWIM accredited, and hold Blue Cards.

At LAPS Swimming Centre, we have a 16-metre heated pool that is kept at a comfortable temperature of 32 degrees all year round. Our facility includes changing rooms, toilets, and a great viewing area for parents and carers. As a private centre, we are not open to the public for general swimming, as we believe a quiet and calm learning environment is crucial for both children and parents.
All our instructors at LAPS are trained according to our high standards. This means that if a teacher is absent, your child will still receive a quality lesson from another member of our team. Our instructors hold Blue Cards, AUSTSWIM Accreditation, and current CPR Certificates.
