Established in 1965, not long after the large food producing areas of the Ord Irrigation Scheme were opened, the golf course was developed in stages and is now of 18 holes, 6035 metres long and par 72, currently with an ACR of 69.
Despite the small number of members, and with all work being volunteer labour, the course of natural grass and sand greens is in very good order. Set on the shores of Lake Kununurra, the golf course presents plenty of challenges on the back nine where water is in play on 7 of the holes!
