The club began in 2002 with two teams, playing at Seth Raistrick reserve on Hume highway. The club now has over 10 teams competing in the FFV North West region. The club has players ranging from as little as four up to the seniors. The club calls its home to Progress reserve which is located on Almurta Avenue in Coolaroo.
The club is a non-profit organisation which is run entirely by volunteers from the community and with the generous support from sponsors. The club has been a community club from day 1 and will remain that way. The current president is Seckin Tekin. 2010 marked a significant year as the club placed its first senior team run by the club.
The reason behind the decision was that the club had been producing talent in the junior teams however this talent was leaving the club once the players moved on to senior level. The club wanted to give the juniors a goal and a target to reach. Also to give the juniors some leadership and pathway to their future endeavours.
