Welcome to Penrith’s first purpose built yoga studio. We are pleased to provide a space that has something for everyone where wellbeing is the primary focus. Lila Yoga was founded in 2006 starting at the humble beginning in a small studio space in Cranebrook. The philosophy of Lila Yoga is to provide a space for the community to practise and enjoy together.
Hatha Yoga synchronising the breath with a progressive series of postures—a process producing intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind.
Kundalini Yoga is a physical and meditative discipline that combines postures (asanas), breath (pranayama), and the chanting of mantras. Kundalini refers to the energy that lays dormant at the base of the spine. Through the practise of yoga, this energy is raised and travels up the spine, through the chakras, creating an overall sense of well-being and a heightened sense of awareness. The word Kundalini literally translates as a “coiled female serpent.
