Lochinvar Rovers Football Club is a prominent sports club located in Maitland City Council, Australia. The club was founded in 1975 as Lochinvar Rovers Junior Soccer Club by three families: Albert and Wendy Doel, John and Judy McLauchlan, and Nan and Bill Lamb. Initially, the club played at the St Patrick’s school oval until the grounds at Lochinvar Sports Complex were constructed. The club owes a great deal to Albert, John, Des Maher, and Jack Lane, who collaborated with Jack Peters from Maitland City Council to establish the present grounds.

The mission of Lochinvar Rovers Football Club is to promote, encourage, and develop the playing and enjoyment of football in the Lochinvar and surrounding community. The club strives to create a welcoming and fun environment for all individuals who visit the club, including volunteers, players, referees, coaches, managers, spectators, and the local community.

The vision of Lochinvar Rovers is to be a family-friendly club that actively involves the local community in all aspects of the game. The club caters to individuals of all abilities, ages, and genders and aims to foster friendly relations between officials and players, ensuring the prevention of any form of discrimination or distinction based on factors such as race, religion, gender, physical and mental disability, or political beliefs. The club also seeks to establish strong connexions and integration within the local community by working closely with schools, government bodies, other football clubs, other sporting clubs (such as Lochinvar Cricket), and community groups, including the Lochinvar Rural Fire Brigade.
