Pony Clubs in the Mackay region engage in many activities. At least once a month, rallies are held at each club where qualified instructors are at hand to assist members with their riding skills. Activities at pony club include flat work, gymkhana, mounted games, polocrosse, camp drafting, showjumping, equitation, dressage, one day eventing, trail riding and theory. Schools run by professional instructors may be held by either clubs or the Zone to improve both instructor and rider knowledge and ability.
