The club was established in 1964, to bring together those with the love of motorcycles and racing. It is a sport for boys and girls from the ages of 4 years to seniors, from the beginners to the professional riders.
The Macleay District Motor Cycle Club provides a junior "Kick Start” programme for beginners, coaching clinics, practise/recreational days, Club race days and 'Open' meetings. We are the home of the Akubra Classic, which is held towards the end of every year. With The Brian Purcell Memorial Day later in the year, generally November.
