Throughout its history, the Maffra Gymnastic Club has been dedicated to providing a safe and inclusive environment for individuals of all ages and abilities. The facilities at Maffra Gymnastic Club are of the highest standard. The venue boasts a Federation Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG) standard floor area, as well as multiple sets of bars, beams, and vaulting tables. An in-ground foam pit, tumbling strip, high bar, and trampoline provide additional training opportunities. The club has also installed a ring's canopy, as well as heating and cooling systems, to ensure optimal training conditions for their athletes.

The Maffra Gymnastic Club has a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1984. From humble beginnings in the Maffra High School Activity Centre, the club has grown and flourished. In 1992, the club moved to a larger commercial building in Empire Place, before finally settling into its current location at the multipurpose Gordon Sporting Complex on Morison Street in 1995. The move to this venue allowed the club to continue expanding and developing into the top-class training facility it is today.
