About
Mareeba State School - Auskick is a sports club located in Mareeba Shire, Australia. The club is affiliated with Mareeba State School and offers a range of sporting activities and opportunities for students from Prep to Year 6.
At Mareeba State School, all classes from Prep to Year 6 have a Physical Education (PE) lesson once a week. During these lessons, students are taught and practise a variety of sports and activities. These events allow students to develop their skills and sportsmanship while competing against their peers. The school also organises friendly competitions with local schools in sports such as cricket, netball, touch football, soccer, and rugby league.
To further support students in their sports endeavours, Northern Queensland Development Officers in AFL, rugby league, cricket, and basketball visit the school to work with students. Mareeba State School is dedicated to helping students pursue excellence in their chosen sport and provides opportunities for them to represent the school at district and regional levels in a wide variety of sports.
