Marmong Point Sailing Club

Welcome to the Marmong Point Sailing Clubs website.

Marmong Point is located in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. On the shores of beautiful Lake Macquarie. It is the only windsurfing only club in the state of New South Wales with its own clubhouse, rescue boat and facilities.

The club was formed in 1936 as a skiff club. In the1980s with the advent of windsurfing it became a skiffs and windsurfer club. In the 1990s due to dwindling numbers the skiff sailors moved on, leaving the windsurfers to run the club.

The club sails all year round, including the colder months, and runs annual regattas, one of which is the Mid-Winters. Its members also participate in state wide championship during the summer months.
