Maroochydore Tennis Club

Welcome to the Maroochydore Tennis Club, a leading sports club located in Cotton Tree, on the stunning Sunshine Coast of Australia. With over 100 members, our club offers a vibrant community dedicated to the sport of tennis.

Our club boasts top-notch facilities, including seven fully floodlit courts. Five of these courts are hard courts, while the remaining two are artificial grass courts. These well-maintained courts provide the perfect backdrop for intense matches or casual games with friends.

Led by our Resident Coach, Kent Mahoney, our experienced coaching team offers excellent coaching sessions for players of all levels and ages. Whether you're a beginner looking to learn the basics or an advanced player seeking to refine your skills, our coaches will provide personalised guidance to help you reach your tennis goals.

In addition to coaching, we also operate a fully stocked Pro Shop. Our shop offers a comprehensive range of tennis equipment, including racquets and accessories. We also provide racquet restringing and repair services to ensure that your gear is always in top condition.

Members of our club have the opportunity to join teams playing fixtures, providing a competitive edge to their tennis experience. Social tennis is also highly popular among our members, offering a relaxed and enjoyable environment to play and socialise. Casual players are always welcome at our club, and we even have a ball machine available for hire.

We are proud to announce that our club recently underwent substantial upgrades to enhance the overall experience for our members. The five hard courts were resurfaced, and the fencing has been replaced, ensuring optimal playing conditions. Additionally, we have upgraded the lighting across the entire tennis centre to industry standard LED lights, enhancing visibility during evening games.

These major works were made possible through grants from the Federal Government, the Sunshine Coast Regional Council, and the State's Gambling Community Benefit Fund. We are incredibly grateful for their support in improving our facilities.

Located just one block away from the popular Maroochydore surfing beach, our club is in high demand by both local residents and holidaymakers. The convenient location makes it easy for tennis enthusiasts to enjoy a game on the courts before or after a day at the beach.
