Prospective new members are required to participate in two full-day walks within three months before their membership is approved. This requirement ensures that new members have a chance to experience and understand the activities and expectations of the club. To try out bushwalking with the club, interested individuals can join the Newcomers' Walk organised by the club or attend a regular club walk on any weekend.
