Melton Basketball Association

Melton Basketball Association is a leading sports club located in Melton, Victoria. As the leading basketball club in the area, Melton Basketball Association offers various programmes and competitions for players of all ages and skill levels.

For beginners between the ages of 5 and 10, the club's Aussie Hoops programme provides a fun and engaging introduction to basketball. This programme is run each school term and focuses on teaching the fundamental skills of the sport.

The club's Junior Domestic Competition caters to players from under 8 to under 18, with separate divisions for boys and girls. The competition takes place within the Melton area, with training and games held locally. Melton Basketball Association manages and administers the competition, and teams are entered and managed through the seven domestic clubs affiliated with the association. There are two seasons per year, with Summer running from the start of school term 4 to the end of term 1, and Winter taking place from the start of school term 2 to the end of term 3.

The competition takes a break during school term holidays and resumes on the first Saturday after school resumes.

The Junior Domestic competition games are played on Saturdays at Cobblebank Stadium, which serves as the primary venue for Melton Basketball Association. To participate in the domestic competitions, teams need to have a designated Team Delegate who will register the team on PlayHQ and serve as the contact person for the Melton Basketball Association.
