The Macarthur Hockey Association Inc is responsible for the control of Field Hockey for Junior Boys and Girls, Men and Women and Veterans in the Macarthur Region.
Presently some 1,500 Hockey players are active in the Macarthur Region.
The Macarthur Region is located south-west of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia and has a present population of some 200,000 residents. Over the next five years this population is expected to increase to approximately 250,000 residents, with further rapid growth to follow. The eventual population of the Macarthur Region is expected to be in the order of 500,000 residents.
In October 1989 the Macarthur Hockey Association was born from the merger of Campbelltown Mens Hockey Association with the Campbelltown Junior Hockey Association and the Macarthur District Women’s Hockey Association. This merger has given this association the strength to carry out large projects such as the Macarthur Regional Hockey Complex.
Our complex currently consists of 2 Sand-based Synthetic Hockey Fields with provision for 4 grass hockey fields as well as an amenities building.
The complex accommodates players from throughout the Macarthur Region and is home for winter and summer competitions of Minkey (under 9), Juniors, Senior men and women as well as Veterans.
