Mighty Good Talent School is Adelaide's leading children's dancing, singing, and acting school, with a rich history dating back to 1978 when it was known as “The Johnny Young Talent School. ” The school strives to provide quality, safe, and cost-effective education in all areas of the performing arts, preparing students for future employment on stage or in any other workplace.

At Mighty Good Talent School, building self-esteem and confidence is paramount. The school offers a non-competitive environment that promotes a healthy alternative to traditional forms of exercise. The aim is to empower students and help them develop their talents by fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere.

The school offers a wide range of classes for different age groups, from Tiny Toes for children aged 18 months to 3 years, all the way up to Step and Adult classes for those aged 14 and above. Each age group has their own tailored programme designed to suit their developmental needs and interests. Students can book a trial class and enjoy three weeks for free to see if the school is the right fit for them.

Mighty Good Talent School also addresses common questions and concerns that parents may have. They provide information on how to identify a talented child, support teenagers in taking the next steps in their performing arts journey, and explain the costs and commitments associated with enrolling in classes. The school emphasises the importance of regular attendance to ensure students fully benefit from the weekly learning curriculum. However, they also accommodate individual circumstances and can adjust the curriculum when necessary, such as during holidays or illness.

Class fees at Mighty Good Talent School are $20 per hour and are billed by the full term. The school offers a range of class lengths, and the fees are adjusted accordingly. There are also advanced classes available for selected students, with more information available upon request. Payment plans are available, and early bird discounts are offered for each term.

Additionally, new students have the opportunity to try classes for free.

In terms of additional costs, Mighty Good Talent School covers various expenses throughout the year, including teaching staff, administration, venues, insurance, copyright, music licences, and photography licences. There may be additional costs for events such as the Showcase Performance in Term 2, for which tickets are sold separately.

When it comes to attire, students should wear comfortable clothing. Dance students are encouraged to wear leggings or shorts and a t-shirt, with appropriate dance shoes recommended. The school provides further guidance on specific shoe requirements.
