Modbury Bowling Club

The Modbury Bowling Club is a hidden gem located in the Adelaide Foothills, surrounded by trees and providing a picturesque setting for bowlers. Situated down Jack High Lane, pass Waterworld, the club offers two grass and two synthetic greens, ensuring year-round bowling opportunities for both members and the local community.

The club boasts modern club rooms that can accommodate up to 300 people, making it an excellent venue for events and functions. Not only do members benefit from these facilities, but the club also extends its services to sponsors, schools, and others who wish to enjoy the great game of lawn bowls. The club rooms are available for hire at competitive rates.

During winter, the Modbury Bowling Club offers indoor bowls and a warm social environment for members and the community to enjoy. The club has over 600 members, including Full Pennant players, Social players, and Night Owlers, who all make use of the facilities throughout the year.

In terms of amenities, the club boasts an extensive bar, and meals are served to the community every Friday night at unbeatable prices. The club prides itself on offering a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

For those interested in becoming members, the club offers various membership types and fees. Full membership, priced at $325 per year, allows individuals to bowl at any club and participate in Pennant Bowl. Full members also enjoy benefits such as full voting rights, a membership card, discounts at the bar, and entry into the members draw. Other membership options include Associate/Social membership, Social membership, Indoor Bowls membership, Restricted Member (Night Owls), and Junior/Student membership.

Membership fees are due and payable by 30th June, and can be paid through Eftpos, cash, or cheque at the bar, or by bank transfer. A membership form is available for download on the club's Facebook page, and once completed and submitted to the club, it will be reviewed by the management committee for processing.
